Green vehicle fleet. Green electricity.

As an environmental technology company, sustainability is part of KMA Umwelttechnik’s corporate DNA. With an active sustainability strategy, KMA not only ensures energy and CO2 savings for its customers, but also bears responsibility for the environment itself. In addition to the high-performance photovoltaic system, the company has also been committed to improving its own carbon footprint by investing in its electric vehicle fleet since April 2020 and is heading for a climate-neutral future.

The industrial environmental technology expert has invested in a total of 16 fully electric or hybrid company vehicles for its employees. The green vehicle fleet is charged using the self-generated green electricity on the roofs at the foot of the Siebengebirge. The total capacity of the system is 714 kWp. This corresponds to the annual electricity requirements of over 500 people and saves around 387 tonnes of carbon dioxide.

When purchasing the green vehicle fleet, KMA Umwelttechnik took advantage of the environmental bonus for electric vehicles subsidised by the federal government. This made the switch to e-mobility an ecological and economic win-win situation.
