The exhaust air problem in the baking process is characterized by high particle and odor pollution, especially by contamination in the form of oily and pasty aerosols. In our case study, the customer Apetito produces pancakes.

Company Apetito – Sustainable production of pancakes

The two pancake production lines of our customer Apetito were equipped with a mechanical pre-filter and a carbon filter with an exhaust air volume of 12,000 m³/h and an average exhaust air temperature of 50ºC degrees.

The existing filters should reduce odor pollution and impurities in the exhaust air. However, the existing process technology did not deliver satisfactory results and relevant emission limits could not be met.
