Exhaust gas scrubber

Exhaust gas scrubber

An exhaust gas scrubber is a technical system removing liquid droplets from production exhaust air or exhaust gases. This method of exhaust air purification is used particularly in food production and metal processing to separate oils, fats or emulsions from the exhaust air stream. Exhaust gas scrubbers are also referred to as gas scrubbers, mist eliminators, demisters or scrubbers.

Gas scrubbers word according to the absorption principle. The contaminated exhaust air is purified using a rinsing solution. The gas scrubber sprays the rinsing solution into the exhaust air stream, whereby the small droplets absorb and bind the contained impurities. The liquid droplets are then separated. Impurities contained in the exhaust are stream can range from dust or particles to oily or pasty aerosols and smoke.

The KMA exhaust gas scrubber is characterized by its high separation efficiency and low water consumption. The exhaust gas scrubber can also be used as a humidifier before treating the exhaust air in a bio filter.

Der KMA Abgaswäscher arbeitet nach dem Absorptionsprinzip und scheidet so Gerüche, Gase und Dämpfe ab.
