Europe wants to become the first climate-neutral continent by 2050 with the help of the European Green Deal. A major milestone is the reduction of CO2 emissions by 55 percent already by 2030 compared to 1990. This affects energy-intensive industries in particular, which now have to bear the costs of CO2 emissions in addition to rising energy prices. The company STIHL Magnesium Die Casting saves 85% CO2 with a heat recovery system, compared to a conventional hall heating system.
