Heat recovery at the stenter frame to reduce operating costs and CO2 emissions
The Textile Magazine published an article on the energy-efficient exhaust air filtration systems with integrated heat recovery for the application in textile finishing. The example of AUNDE Achter & Ebels GmbH illustrates not only the savings potential in terms of CO2 emissions, but also in terms of operating costs.
The long-term goal of the Paris climate agreement is to limit global warming to well below 2°C compared to the pre-industrial age, including efforts to limit global warming to 1.5°C. The essential measure to achieve this goal is to reduce CO2 emissions worldwide. This increases the pressure on energy-intensive industries.
